I write practitioner guides to India's data protection regime, and I host the DPDP Daily podcast. My working life has been in programme and compliance delivery rather than in chambers, which shapes how these books are written: they are aimed at the person who has to produce the notice, sign the processor contract, run the breach drill and answer the auditor.
The series covers the Act and the Rules in general, then goes sector by sector, because the interesting questions are rarely what the statute says. They are what happens when the statute and a sectoral regime both say something and the two do not agree.
